Project Overview

Tie is a 3D side scroller adventure game featuring one player two characters, with gameplay that blends adventure, puzzle-platformer and stealth phases. Following a father and daughter, you will experience an thrilling journey.

Things I Did

• Game Designer & Level Designer & Lead Artist
• Designed the gameplay and core mechanics.
• Wrote the Game Design Document.
• Learned ProBuilder to make the level for ocean scene.
• Used Unity, Maya, Substance Painter to make related textures, VFX, shaders, animations, level art, cinematic, etc.

Game Overview

• To save his daughter trapped in her own mind. The father used a technology device to enter his daughter’s subconscious world
• Play as the daughter with the power to interact with light and the father who has physical advantages, work together to escape from this subconscious world
• This is a journey of self-recovery

Six parts of the game. From the warm color of the prison at the beginning, to the gradual transition between the cave and the snow mountain, and then to the darker blue in spirit space. The color of the scene has been changing with the change of the daughter's mentality.
